Mother's Milk Support - Lactation Support and Education
Please read over these suggestions that other women have found helpful in preparing for a consultation.
 
  • Have a list of questions/concerns so we can prioritize.
  • Provide your OB/GYN / Pediatrician / Heath Care Providers contact information.
  • Have daily feeding logs with 24 hour totals, and baby’s weight history.
  • Have your baby due for a feeding, and if possible hold him/her to encourage sleep until the the consultant is ready. Babies don't have schedules so we may run over into the next scheduled time.
  • Have any breastfeeding aids tried in the past, such as breast pumps, nipple shields, syringes, shells, latch assist aids
